The only way to change it is to completely change one of the familiars creature files, but this would alter it for any future playthrough that would also cast find familiar. Unfortunately, it seems the Find Familiar choices are hard coded in the games. Originally I wanted to make Find Familiar better for the kit, my plan was to make it so that the beast master always got the ferret and it had its thieving skills brought up 75%. This penalty increases to -4 at 6th level, -6 at 11th level, -8 at 16th level. The Rangers innate Charm Animals spell now causes the target to make it's saving throw with a -2 penalty. Restored all weapon proficiencies to what regular Rangers receive. Added the Conjure Animals spell as an innate spell gained at 12th level with two uses a day. You also gain them at levels 3, 6 and 9 respectfully with two uses each per day. Takes the Animal Summoning spells that you would get at levels 8, 10 and 12 and turns them into innate spells instead of having to memorize them as a regular spell.
